Another nice day.

Oh, really, Twelve? I don’t imagine things would be too nice in such a district.

Cato walked over and sat down with Hippolyta, “That sucks, but isn’t Max is almost always getting into trouble?” He smiled. And leaned against the wall behind the bench. “You look nice today. Well, for training clothes” Cato smiled at her.

Hippolyta illicited the closeted thing to a giggle to ever escape her lips. “Don’t be generous. I look terrible.” But Two wasn’t known for beauty and glamor, that was One. None-the-less the compliment made Hippolyta feel warm inside.”Max is the troublesome child, but I think he’s mom’s favorite. He does have the title of Victor.” Max had always received high praise from their mother, especially after he won his Games. The only way Hippolyta felt she’d win their approval is by winning the Games herself. “Are we going to get this show on the rode or not?” She said standing up, suddenly all business.”

ooc;

Mimi is going on vacation! I will be departing on May 25th and returning on June 2nd. In the meantime I have set up queues so that my blogs will stay active and won’t be dead the whole time. I hope everyone has a great time while I’m gone and I will miss you all greatly! <3

We Were Born to Die | Cato & Hippolyta

2districtcato:

Cato entered into the training hall looking for Hippolyta “There you are” He smiled. Hippolyta brought out the little kindness in Cato, which was nice for a change. It was empty in the little training area, no one there, but Him and Hippolyta. He walked over and sat down next to her, “How have you been?” He asked as if they hadn’t seen each other for a while.

 Cato felt bad for not being able to see Hippolyta in a few days. He missed being with her. When they were together, he felt free. Not having to worry about training, the reaping. Or anything really.

Hippolyta smiled weakly back at him. Lately, her nearly infallible pride had been overcome by doubt. She had found herself not wanting to see Cato go off to the Games that would take place in a couple of months. But she couldn’t really see a way that he could lose. They were born for this after all. “I’m okay,” she replied patting the spot next to her, an invitation for him to sit beside her. “Mom is mad at Max for some stupid reason. She said it should be me going into this years Games and not next year’s.” Her mother always found a reason to be mad about something.

It’s funny how all these girls think I actually care what they think about me.

I don’t really think about you. Sorry.
